Frequently Asked Questions
Q. Are homeopathic medicines safe?
A. Because of the small doses used in homeopathy, the medicines are non-toxic. When properly administered, they are safely used for babies, children, adults and seniors. It is also safe to take during pregnancy. There are no known or suspected contraindications or drug interactions between homeopathic and conventional medicines.

Q. Do homeopathic medicines cause side-effects?
A.Homeopathy takes a different approach and does not divide the effects of a remedy into so called effects and side-effects. When a homeopathic medicine is properly prescribed and taken, based on the symptoms of the whole person, it can be given in such a tiny, non-toxic dose that it will not force its effects on the body. Therefore, there are no side-effects as with conventional drug therapy. They are completely safe to take.

Q. Are the homeopathic remedies expensive?
A. Homeopathic medicines are much less expensive than conventional medicines. The medicines have extended shelf life and often may be used or stored for a long period of time. A bottle of medicine may remain useful for years.
Q. What kind of dose do I take and how often?
A. The homeopathic remedies are usually shaken well, and the dose is a quarter of a dropper 1-3 times a day, according to the directions on the bottle. Make sure you do not let the dropper touch your tongue, so as not to contaminate the bottle with your saliva. This will ensure that the remedies will last indefinitely.
Q. When is the best time to take the remedies?
A. You can take the remedies at any time of day, away from meals. Wait at least ten minutes before eating or drinking.
Q. How do I store the remedies?
A. Homeopathic remedies are stored at room temperature, preferably in a place that is away from heat, direct sunlight, strong odors, and electronic devices, such as computers and microwaves. Homeopathic remedies retain their therapeutic properties for extended periods if properly cared for.
